Q. A small steel ball bearing with a mass of 20g is on a short compressed spring. When aimed vertically and suddenly released, spring sends the bearing to a height of 1.25 m. compute horizontal distance the ball would travel if the same spring were aimed 33deg from the horizontal.

Q. The spring of the pressure gauge shown in has a force constant of 1 400N/m, and the piston has a diameter of 1.60cm. When the gauge is lowered into water in a lake, what change in depth causes piston to move in by 0.850cm?
