Mini-Mental Status Exam/Evaluation
Compse an essay on your observations of your subject as you administer the Mini-Mental Status. exam. This essay must be a vast detailed and lengthy one.
AREAS:
1. On your essay, select an individual such as a sibling, parent, grandparent, colleague, or friend who is preferably 55 years or older to administer the Folstein Mini-Mental Status Exam. The preferred individual should be an individual who may be demonstrating signs of cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, or other impairment occurring from an unmanaged mental health disorder or even a medical condition. If you cannot find an individual who may be showing some signs of cognitive impairment, you can select an adult 55 years or older.
2. Complete the MMSE and score the outcome of the results.
3. Be certain to describe the reason the client scored at a certain level and if you concur with the score based on your observations.
