The process involved synthesizing Hope's clinical information and applying the guidelines from this module on venous thromboembolism (VTE) management. I considered her risk factors and selected the most appropriate treatment to prevent complications, while ensuring she understood the importance of smoking cessation and stopping oral contraceptive use to reduce her future risks.
