Question: National harm reduction is a public health approach to reducing the risks associated with drug use, primarily by providing access to resources that reduce the harms associated with drug use, such as needle and syringe exchange programs, medication-assisted treatment, drug user health services, overdose prevention, and HIV and hepatitis C prevention and care services.
