Case: ECO-Systems wants to change the world! We want to further our goal of creating and sustaining a dynamic workforce that communicates in a way that is:
E - Engaging.
C - Clear, and
O - Organized.
To accomplish our goal, we've established P & I Agents - also known as: Persuasive and Influential Agents. These P&I Agents use our communication secrets to take persuasion to a whole new level! They are what make ECO-Systems a sustainable venture.
A big part of the P&I Agents' role is to persuade key companies and organizations that they need ECO-Systems' seminars to train their people in effective communication. So, here's where you come in. Now that you've learned about our persuasion techniques in this seminar, we want to give you the chance to put those techniques into action. You'll be taking on the role of a P&I Agent.
We're asking you to compose an email to the American Artificial Intelligence Society (AAIS) to convince them that their member companies should send their key employees to the ECO-Systems Seminars. The AAIS has been very resistant to the idea of training people in communication because they believe that AI will soon polish everyone's communications.
Guidelines
We need you to use as many techniques from Chapter 6 as you can, including the graphic guidelines. After you have completed the email:
List the techniques you incorporated.
Go back and underline where you used the technique and insert the name of each technique [in brackets] before each underlined example.
Optional: you may find it helpful to run your paper through Grammarly (basic, free version) as part of your editing process.
