Question: Compose a short simple plainchant using an online music sequencer. A sequencer is a piece of software that gives you the tools to compose music. Remember, plainchants are monophonic - no harmony or chords. Below are the guidelines to follow. The video demonstration will walk you through the simple process. Compose a simple melody using the notes - A B C D E F G. You will use only the white notes on the piano keyboard. I would start on A3 as demonstrated in the video. Make it about 6 measures long. Start and end on A Compose the melody using a variety of long and short notes. Don't make the notes too long. Don't have any gaps between the notes on the horizontal plane.
