Mrs. Praters response
In what ways do you incorporate technology into your classroom? Are there any online tools that you have found to be the most helpful as teaching tools with students, parent communication, or teaching resources? Mrs. Prater makes use of Seesaw, Iready, and Renaissance Learning. Students can work on their own pace with the program Iready to improve their mathematical and reading skills. which implies that it is precisely for them. Every week, students spend 45 minutes on each subject. Seeing how students do at the start, middle, and end of the year is another useful tool for mastery learning. For our Accelerated Reader program, we use Renaissance. Her personal favorite is Seesaw. Students have the ability to finish the assignments, take class photos and videos, and complete activities. Parents can check their children's progress by viewing their portfolios. Additionally, she can tell which skills they need to improve on and are having trouble with.
Mrs. Pierce responses
In what ways do you incorporate technology into your classroom? Are there any online tools that you have found to be the most helpful as teaching tools with students, parent communication, or teaching resources? We use technology as a class to access materials and information that link the classroom to extracurricular activities that enhance learning. Our current platform of choice is Hatch Ignite, a dynamic and adaptive learning environment that offers educators standards-based documentation that satisfies the Alabama Early Learning Standards, teaching strategies gold, and early learning objectives. Hatch is an assessment tool that is based on research and helps students become ready for kindergarten. Teaching Strategies Gold serves as an online portfolio that we utilize to track, evaluate, guide instruction, and keep families informed about their child's progress across all subject areas.
