Set Your Goals and Reward System
a. Goal(s) should reflect the S.M.A.R.T. Model. Minimum of 1 goal, maximum of 5.
b. Tangible objects are a great way to stay motivated, such as a new pair of running shoes.
Please avoid negative behavior rewards, such as binge eating/drinking.
Select Exercises for Your Fitness Program.
a. Include at least 4 out of the 5 Components of Physical Fitness in your exercises.
b. Exercises should be described clearly, correlate with the components of physical fitness, and should reflect your goal(s).
Plan your weekly routine
An excellent Fitness Plan will follow the FITT Principle (Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type).
A 4-week plan is required.
Monitor your progress
a. The weekly routine will also serve as your log. Students are encouraged to copy their weekly routine, delete the scheduled times, print the log, and log their own achievements to monitor progress.
Also included in the Fitness Plan project will be a page essay also include a reference in your essay.
