Case Study 1:

It is late in the evening on a Saturday night in a bar that serves cocktails and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Staff working that night include: 3 bar staff, 1 of which is the team leader, a manager on duty with 2 security officers.

A patron has approached the bar and is staggering in their approach. Once at the bar the patron has a noticeable sway and when they ask for a "bourbon and coke", there is a noticeable slur in their speech. His eyes are dilated, and his physical  appearance leads you to believe they may be under the influence of an illicit substance.

  1. If you were the bar person, what are your duties and responsibilities?
