In the novel, As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, notice that Faulkner has his characters using complex and detailed words-like "scoriation" "repudiant" and "soporific". Darl is usually the character who uses these words, but occasionally other characters-like Dewey Dell- also uses them. Given that the Bundrens are ignorant country people without much obvious educaton, speculate on why the author has characters think such dense and specific words. Use at least one example from the book.
