Procedure:

Step 1: Read "Write Your Business Plan" by the US Small Business Administration. Download and read an example business plan.

Step 2: Brainstorm a list of business ideas and choose one to focus on for this project. Consider picking something related to your major, bobby, or a special interest.

Step 3: Research that business idea to find out about the need for that product and service and about other businesses similar to yours. Be prepared to cite the sources in APA style.

Step 5: Complete and submit the project outline.

Step 6: Complete the lean business plan. You may use this Business Plan Template. An MS Word version of this template is also available in MyCourses.

Step 7: Create a brief presentation.

The purpose of the presentation is to create interest in your product/app/restaurant/store. Think of it as a marketing tool.

The presentation should not include every detail from your business plan.

The presentation will use visuals and bullet points to express the main ideas from each of your main headings.
