Please read the Requirement carefully.
1. Select a book relevant to any topic area covered in this course,
2. Complete an individual review of the book, and
3. Complete slides and a presentation in which you persuade the audience to understand and accept your position/arguments regarding the book.
The selection of a book is on a first-come-first-serve basis and must be approved by the professor before proceeding to ensure there will not be an overlap of book selections. If your book is not approved by me, you will not receive credit for your review or presentation.
Your paper should be 5 pages total, including 1 title page and 1 reference page.
Your paper should include:
1. Introduction of the book including the title, author(s) and year of publication, and the main topic;
2. a brief summary of the book including key points made by the author(s);
3. Two (2) cited references per page;
4. Who should read this book (e.g., everyone, students, employees, managers)?;
5. Your critique of the book - what did you like about the book, its strengths, weaknesses, would you recommend the book to others and why or why not? and
6. Concluding remarks.
As noted above, in addition to your written paper, you will prepare and present a set of slides.
Your must have a minimum of 6 slides that assist you in persuading the audience to understand and accept your position/arguments regarding the book.
