Assignment Brief: Complete an individual Game Design Criticism. You will evaluate a traditional game (i.e. not a Video Game) from many perspectives. You cannot select Monopoly, however, you may use your previous evaluations as inspiration for this work. Please note, this is not a journalistic appraisal of the game. This is an academic evaluation of a non-computer game. It is important to include your own personal experience in your analysis.

You will:
1. Justify and defend the selection of a traditional game for your personal game design criticism.
2. Describe the game in general terms from your own understandings.
3. Identify the genre(s) of the game.

5. Analyse the meaning, referentiality and socio-cultural layers of the game.
