Assessment 1: Logbook
A weekly task to be completed through e-portfolio and submitted through Logbook submission. Please see canvas for detailed guidelines. This is an invigilated individual assessment.

Assessment 2: Report
This is a non-invigilated group (maximum two) assessment. The students are required to prepare an analytical report on an ASX listed company. The report needs to overview the company followed by the financial analysis. Please see canvas for detailed guidelines.

Logbook

This assessment is designed to assess your technical skills in completing accounting cycle effectively. You are required to complete an accounting cycle in excel spreadsheet incorporating business transactions from commencement to one accounting period. Using your MS Excel, you are required to develop templates of accounts, and accounting statement.

For successful completion of this assessment, you are required to actively attend workshops regularly (at least once a week face to face or via Zoom meeting). You are also required to study the material provided (lecture slides, videos, and relevant reading materials), engage in the unit's activities, and in the discussion forums. The prescribed textbook is the main reference along with the recommended reading materials. Groups are expected to discuss their work with lecturer and to seek support. In completing this assessment successfully, you will be able to effectively complete Excel spreadsheet, which will help in achieving ULO-1, ULO-2, ULO-3, ULO-4, ULO-5, and ULO-6.
