Case Study Research & Presentation

Your Task
You are required to complete a group case study by preparing a slide deck and in-class presentations.

Assessment Description
You will be assigned to groups of 4 students where you will advise an assigned client of their responsibilities and appropriate accounting and governance practices. You will also advise the client regarding the selection, performance measurement and remuneration of their Board of Directors and Executive.

Assessment Instructions
Each group member will receive a pre-reading document in Week 4 which should be reviewed as part of your preparation.
Groups are required to prepare a slide deck in-class following individual and group research completed in-class during the Week 5 workshop.
Each group will present their findings and advice through an in-class individual presentation during the first half of the week 6 workshop.

Detailed instructions:
Identify the sources relevant to the slide deck (e.g., journal articles, textbooks, websites, regulatory bodies etc.). These must include academic journal articles and governance body guidelines but may also include other relevant sources. Each source must be referenced as per KBS referencing guidelines including in-text citations.

Complete in-class presentations during the week 6 workshop. Each group is required to deliver a presentation for a maximum of 11 minutes of which each group member must present for 21/2 minutes. The first member of the group will present for an additional minute outlining the case background (not part of assessment).
