Question: Building on the work you completed in your Assessment 2 Case Study analysis, within which you cleaned a data set and constructed a pivot table for the organisation of your choice, Assessment 3 requires you to expand on this analysis and deliver a formal presentation to your invested stakeholder. You are to choose from three presentation methods and deliver a 5-10 minute review and analysis of the data set you have chosen that offers real-world insights for the organisation that has employed you.
Completing this assessment requires adherence to the following tasks:

Task 1: Complement the pivot table you created in Assessment 2 with at least three more visualisations using Microsoft Excel that help to tell a data-driven story for your stakeholder.

Task 2: Choose from three presentation method options: face-to-face (in class), live online via Teams OR pre-recorded narrated PowerpointiCANVA presentation. NOTE: It is your responsibility to ensure you have a scheduled presentation time and that any pre-recorded content is saved correctly and can be accessed by assessors.

Task 3: Prepare your presentation. Your submission should contain graphs/tables/charts, summary points, and other visual aids that help to propel a data-driven story.

Task 4: Deliver your presentation and submit your presentation materials (slides, notes, Excel visual aids) for grading via the Assessment 3 tab in myMurdoch learning.

NOTE: Students selecting to do an in class presentation need to submit their slides by the due date and place their name on the in class presentation list here.

Students who are submitting video presentations can either upload normally (the capacity has been expanded) OR use Echo to create and upload their submission by following these instructions for uploading videos

Your presentation will be evaluated against the following criteria:
Shows an understanding of how to "read" data and uncover insights for invested stakeholders
Displays a capacity to develop pivot tables, ,harts, and/or graphs using Microsoft Excel
Shows a capacity to develop presentation materials and visual aids that convey clear data

Assessment Criteria

Your presentation will be evaluated against the following criteria:
