He states that he has had persistent headaches for 5 months, almost on a daily basis. He states that they are dull in nature and vice like around his head. He has been working more than usual and states that the headaches have become more frequent and intense. He denies nausea, vomiting; also denies sensitivity to light or sound or visual symptoms such as flashes of light, or zigzag patterns. They do not awaken him from sleep. He also states that he has been taking Vicodin almost every day from a previous surgery and that it seems help him quite a bit. How would you manage this patient?
