Question

Becca presents to the office with complaints of a itchy, dry, flakey skin. This seems to always occur during winter and summer months and has been worsening over the last three years. Lotion does not seem to be helping, despite applying it twice per day. Becca reports that she uses over the counter lotions, such as Jergens. Patches occur usually in the antecubital space and on her trunk, and she has to wear long sleeves to hide the rash and it is bothersome to her. Has history of seasonal allergies and asthma, currently under good control with Loratadine (Claritin), Montelukast (Singular), and Albuterol (Proventil) PRN.
