Cyrus Horton. Patient C.H. is a 57-year-old male who presents to the outpatient clinic with a chief complaint of having acute left knee pain for the past two days. The pain started as a mild ache and gradually got worse, and it currently hurts a lot. Reports pain as throbbing pain occurring constantly. Reports having trouble walking because of pain. Describes the location as the whole left knee and mentions redness in the left knee. Denies any specific event that caused the occurrence of pain. Denies radiating pain. Reports that taking rest makes his knee pain better. However, persistent knee pain is present. He has been frequently taking ibuprofen (2 tablets every 4 hours). However, ibuprofen is not helping much. Mentions walking and bending the knee hurts a lot, and currently limping because of the pain. Rated pain as 6-8 severity on a 10-point scale. iHuman.
