Question

A 35-year-old male presents to the ER with complaint of abdominal distention, anorexia, and nausea for the last 3 days. He consumes half a bottle of whiskey every day with his last drink being yesterday and documentation in the chart indicates alcohol dependency. There is no history of blood transfusions, recreational drug use, or unsafe sexual contact. The physical exam showed jaundice conjunctiva. CT scan shows hepatomegaly, but no splenomegaly. Recommendation is given for the patient to see a gastroenterologist to rule out cirrhosis. icd?
