American sports fans often complain about the lack of scoring in soccer. In particular, many Americans feel that scoreless ties occur way too often. An avid fan of soccer is determined to set the record straight by showing that less than 10% of all professional soccer matches end in a scoreless tie. He collects a random sample of 300 professional matches and finds that 25 of them ended in a 0-0 draw. Use this sample data to test the claim that the proportion of all soccer matches that end in a scoreless tie is less than 10%. Use .05 as your level of significance. Be sure to report your p-value and write an interpretation of your results.
