Assignment 3
Your task is to compile a report according to the formatting instructions available on the Assignment 3 page in your course.
The purpose of this project is to give you experience in carrying out basic research in an area related to your work or community. By completing Assignment 3, you should have shown that you can carry out data analyses that are relevant to the aims of your choice, form appropriate conclusions and evaluate them for validity and reliability and present them in an appropriate form.
Your project should be presented as a report, as if you were handing it to your manager. It should be word-processed, well written and checked for spelling and grammar. If you are not strong in these areas, you should get a friend to proof-read it for you. Analysis should be done on the computer using the course software, with appropriate comments and explanations. Probably about 10 pages plus cover page, table of contents and appendices will be necessary.
As your lecturer assesses your responses, they will be looking for: - an introduction to your topic - an outline of the importance of the selected topic - two or more clearly stated aims (research questions) - a description of data collection and sampling methods - appropriate and accurate use of graphs and statistics - clearly presented analyses - valid conclusions and evaluation of them - comment on any limitations - a well-presented interpretation of the results and discussion on the practical applications - a well-organised, stand-alone document that follows conventions for report writing - statistical results are formatted according to APA style requirements - the use of computer software for word-processing, graphs and analysis.

(10 marks) Aims: Students should repeat aims from Assignment 2, written in clear statistical terms.(8 marks) 20 Data collection Students should give source of data (1 mark), describe population and variables (5 marks) and use appropriate sampling method to actually take a sample from population (4 marks) 10
Please see attached Assignment 2 and 3. This is actually one whole project that is divided in two parts. Assignment 2 is a project plan. And attached the related files. Assignment 3 is the actual project . Use New Zealand data for both the assignments & deliver the complete work as per below due dates:
