In your role as General Manager at ANIBT Hotel, the ultimate responsibility regarding compliance with current legal and licensing requirements for the Hotel ANIBT rests on your shoulders. It is therefore essential you are fully aware of the areas within your jurisdiction. a) Compile a comprehensive list of the current statutory compliance needs for Hotel ANIBT, using sources of relevant legal and licensing information such as industry and employer associations, regulatory authorities, state and federal government departments. For each area to be covered below you must provide detailed information on: 1) Where to access and gain regular updated information on the legislation(website) 2) The legislation covering the area and a brief description of the purpose of the legislation 3) Business responsibilities within the legislation 4) A list of risk, penalties and consequences of non compliance for each legislation 5) Identify any recent changes to the legislation over the past 6 months This list must include the legal and licensing requirements and provisions related to all 13points below. AREAS TO COVER 1. Liquor licensing obligation 2. Preparing and selling food 3. Consumer protection in regard to selling products 4. Workers compensation obligations 5. Workplace Occupation Health and Safety obligations 6. Industrial relations obligations 7. Equal Employment Opportunity obligations 8. Superannuation obligations 9. Anti-discrimination obligations 10. Environment protection obligations 11. Insurance 12. Taxation requirements and obligations 13. Employment and Awards in relation to the Hospitality Industry Award 2010 b) Develop policies and procedures for legal compliance for 6 of the areas above
