Porter's competitive model offers the main competitive strategies. They include low price, differential and integrated (Lumen Learning, n.d.). Using the low-price strategy, the choice would be to create a mass-produced/mass-marketed furniture line. The benefits of this strategy would be an increased market attraction and cost cutting practices for initial investment. However, one disadvantage would be lack of variation and value in the products or services (Lumen Learning, n.d.).
