A participant is to choose two competing multinational companies from the same industry below and conduct a research on at least 3 of the topics of operations management listed.

The criteria of your research must include the followings;

1. The competitiveness of the two firms selected including the comparative study between the benefits and limitations of each firm regarding its operations.

2. The application of at least 3 operations management concepts listed above thateach firm use.
a. The concepts must encompass the practices and its benefits with tradeoffs.
b. The comparison between the strategy selected by each firm.
c. The alignment of the operation strategy with the objectives, competitive priorities, and core competencies for improving its competitiveness.

3. The conclusion from the research study including any recommendation youwould provide for improvement of operation of both companies.
