Q1) Find out the ANOVA tables for following regressions: (1) dry weight (Y) on age (X), and (2) log10 dry weight (Z) on age (X). The results given below will be helpful in reducing computation time:

 S2y|x = 0.23218 SSY = 8.16811  S2z|x= 0.0007838  SSZ = 4.2276839

2) Use tables to carry out F test for significance of each straight-line regression. Interpret your results

3) Compare value of test statistics F obtained in part(2) with value of t2, square of test statistic for testing H0: β1 =0 that was needed in  test null hypothesis that true slope is 0. Interpret the results of this test.

4) P- values for F test in part(2) and for t test in part(2) are same intuitively. Explain why does this make sense?
