Question: Organizational transformation is sometimes necessary for companies to succeed and grow. However, the changes that such strategies bring need to be planned and managed well for the transition to occur smoothly both for those leading the change as well as for the other employees in the organization.
address the following questions regarding organizational strategy and change management:
Have you been impacted by strategic decisions that led to organizational transformation in your current or past workplace or school? If yes, share your experience with how the organizational change was managed, what helped the transition, and what didn't.
If you haven't experienced organizational change in real life, imagine a situation where an organization you work for is being restructured. What would you want the organization to do before and during the restructuring to help you with the transition?
In your response to two peers, address the following:
Compare your experiences related to organizational change management with those of your peers. Do you share the same experience of what worked well and what didn't?
Do you think any of the organizational changes in your peers' examples could have been handled better? How?

Organizational transformation
My current workplace went through a transformational organizational process a few years ago, relating to the acquisition of another business by our company; this resulted in different challenges due to the different cultural and ethical backgrounds, and this also relates to production and blending in without a significant setback. The organization I worked with provided means of information and documentation by organizing webinars, meetings, and training of every professional kind and type in preparedness to effectively embrace and efficiently utilize the newly acquired skills to benefit the organizational growth. The early preparation and awareness played a tremendous role in successfully containing the lapses that would have been available, hence minimizing the frustrating and confusing moments that would have been a setback and signs of discouragement.

I have gained many valuable skills throughout my MBA journey so far. However, the main takeaway that has been consistent throughout each course has been how crucial effective communication is. Effective communication can literally make or break a company, and could be the difference between a smooth or bumpy transition. I have learned various communication methods that can be used in various scenarios to best inform a specific target audience. Yet, I believe that this is a skill that I want to continue to develop for my own career development progress. I believe that an effective communicator will be able to adapt to other skills easier.
Now, the one organizational change that I have experienced was adjusting to online schooling during the pandemic. I remember I was in my supply chain course at ASU, and our professor was telling us how all our lives were about to change without directly saying why. I would never see my professors again, and I would never see most of my classmates again. I had to adjust to doing everything remotely, and find a way to substitute human interaction through a computer screen. ASU did a great job of making sure each student and faculty member transitioned smoothly by being more lenient on their grading and assignment due dates. In the end, what made this transition easier was the fact that every student around the world was experiencing this as well.
Can't wait to get to know all of you throughout this course, and wish all of you nothing but the best!
