Case Study: Select two companies that have a presence in Oxford County for the basis of your research. Each of the companies will be from different sectors. i.e. one retail and one manufacturing (Walmart and W Furniture); one service and one manufacturing (Tim Hortons & Cami/Toyota - whichever two sectors you want, and whichever two companies you want, as long as they are different -you do not need to use the ones I have indicated and they can be large companies or smaller ones (although smaller ones maybe more difficult to identify their activity). But should be in the presence of OXFORD COUNTY ONLY! Research each company's record/activity in the area of CSR.

Question: Complete a written report with the following criteria:

0 Follow APA formatting guides 1- You may include your thoughts and opinions - as long as they are clearly identified as such

0 Contains no errors in spelling, grammar, sentence structure, etc.

0 Provide a brief (one or two paragraph) description of what CSR is and why you feel it is important - or not.

0 Provide a description/information of each ofthe businesses that you selected. Some suggestions to include: - What their business is/does - Who their stakeholders are (key and all) - Domestic? International? Both?

0 Compare what CSR activity each company is typically involved in with what they were involved in over the past couple of years because of the pandemic. Was there a difference?

0 Was there a difference, in general, in the CSR activities between the two companies (one from the other)? If so, explain how they differed. This is an overall comparison - notjust because of the pandemic. 1- Is the general public aware of these activities (i.e. does the company ensure their efforts are in the news)? Were you aware of them prior to completing this assignment?

0 Explain how knowing about these activities will affect/or have affected your buying decisions.
