Using a dataset of 330 sets of [MFCC] coefficients generated from .wav audio files of humans speaking, predict if the accent is american or from another country. This is a binary classification problem.
Use Case** - Call centers/technical support centers could use this model to automatically screen callers for their accent and match them with an agent (human or not) that speaks in an accent/language they can easily understand.\n",
Evaluation Metrics** - It is equally important that the model recognizes American or non-American accents. Therefore accuracy is a good measure of model performance, as well as the ROC AOC.\n",
