A real estate agent wants to compare the variation in selling prices of beachfront homes with one to three blocks from the sea.

A sample of 21 beach houses sold in the past year announced a standard deviation of the selling price of $ 45,600. A sample of 18 homes, also sold in the past year, of which one to three blocks from which appeared the standard deviation was $ 21,330. At a 0.01 level of significance, can we achieve more variation in the selling price of a seashore home?
