Instructions for Written Assignment
A written assignment is intended to test your understanding of important concepts and discover how to sharpen your intellectual skills of analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and application. The intent is to provide an opportunity for you to more fully describe, explain, and analyze the assigned readings as well as the other sources (library/Internet) used in developing your work. When choosing source materials to support your writing, it should be remembered that this course is considered upper level study. As such, use of your text(s) as primary source material is highly discouraged.
Be sure to cite any and all sources correctly so that your academic integrity is not called into question. Your paper is to be 12pt Arial, double spaced. Submit your essay in MS Word format (.doc or .docx). Please document any sources using APA style.
