Assignment
Software: R and MATLAB
You need to work on - the entire work just about predicting the users. Explain everything in detail to make it easier and clearer.
You have a set of data this data we assume is related to a space. The data contains the number of users in a space, the heat and electricity consumption, and weather temperature. The data cover 10 months from one year.
((the data is well organized, so you don't need extra time to organize anything))
What you want to do:
The entire work is about predicting the number of users based on previous data, energy, and the weather. You have 10 months of full data - I need you to assume that we don't know the number of users in month number 4 and 8.
So, using Markov chain to predict the number of users [[based on the given data]]
To compare the predicted number of user and the actual - kind of validate the model
Second you need to predict the number of users in month 11 and 12 to complete the year, after that estimate the months 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 from the coming year.
The output as explained is the number of users in the selected months
• Graphs (for month 4) need a graph to show the prediction and another graph contains the actual and the perdition graph together
• Graphs (for month 8) need a graph to show the prediction and another graph contains the actual and the perdition graph together
• Graphs (for month 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) just one graph of the prediction users for each month
• Table for the number of users for each month (per day) - Excel file will be acceptable
• The work has to be done using MATLAB and R with the files
• For MATLAB
• Using Markov chain - required formulas and models I need it written with explanation
• Written work for the work you've done - PDF file will be acceptable
• For the R program
• The required just the graphs with the tables - to compare how different between two software
• PDF file for the results - no need to write
Make sure the graphs a clear and will presented
This is part of the data to show that you don't need to organize any thing.
It is ready to be import in the MATLAB and R
