Mr K, 76 years who had a past history of HT, T2DM and smoking has been on general surgical ward 5days since he had small bowel resection via laparotomy. Surgical wound bed showed no infection and healing partially. However there is a moderate amount of bleeding present and surrounding skin is dry. He also has a diabetic foot ulcer on his right big toe (wound bed is dry, sloughy and not infected and the surrounding skin is dry)
