The research paper must complete a seven page paper of original research. The paper must include a cover sheet and an APA style bibliograpgy. Each paper must use at least 5 sources, from at least two of the following categories:

1) Books

2) The Press (newspapers,magazines, and journals)

3) The internet

Topic: history of social movements

"Women's rights"

Create reaserch paper a five- six pages. Reaserch paper must cite at least 4 sources two "hard" sources : books,magazines, newspapr and two internet sources. In addition, the paper must include in-text citations and a list of works cited, and must be formatted in correct MLA style.

Research papers will be based upon your focused analysis of one or more of the following short stories.

1."The Chrysanthemums" by John Steinbeck

2 "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" by James Thurber.

3. "The Story of an Hour" by Kate Chopin.

4. "Everyday Use" by Alice Walkee.

Choose one of the following topics as a springboard for the thesis of your research paper.

1) Present a psychological profile a character in one of the works listed above. Or Compare and contrast the psychological profiles of two characters from different works listed above.

2) Compare and contrast the author's presentation of women in society in two of the works listed above.
