• Kant is saying that the core of the idea is that we are all embodied beings that need to inhabit spaces in Earth and no one originally has a right to any particular space of the Earth's surfaces and since it's a finite space, we have no choice but to interact with each other, but we should understand that the Earth's humanity as a whole have a right to inhabit space in Earth; a birthright if you will so we must tolerate each other's company
• He derives the principle the right to move and approach one another in whatever space we have to inhabit and that gives you claim to territory and this individual right retains some purchase in the right to move around and seek and establish principles, normative relationships with each other without hinderance
• This doesn't mean others have a correlative duty to form relationships with others and we can't do anything about it, but it is our obligation to have a duty of approach; we don't have an obligation to turn them away but we do to meet and approach
