Our self-talk or inner voice influences how we feel about ourselves. When ourself-tal is positive we feel good about who we are. When our self-talk is negative, we tend to be critical and judgmental of oursellves.
We aren't always aware of the negative things we say to ourselves but they still affect how we feel. When we are able to recognize our negative self-talk, we can work onmaking it more positive with positive affirmations. This shift wil improve our mood and the quality of our experiences.
