Leadership Perspectives Assignment - Leadership Self-Assessment and Leadership Development Plan

Learning outcomes assessed: Investigate personal leadership style and create a personal development plan in order to demonstrate effective leadership skills in a real or simulated situation.

INSTRUCTIONS: This assessment is in two parts.

Part A - Self-assessment Process

Part B - Leadership Development Plan

Complete the four Self-Insight questionnaires accompanying this assignment. Use these, plus any other self-insights and the self-efficacy questionnaire completed earlier this semester to assess your leadership abilities.

REQUIRED:

Part A - Self-assessment Process

i. Existing leadership theory(ies)

Reflect on your responses for each questionnaire. Discuss what you have learned about yourself, include:

• Where you have been as a leader and your current leadership abilities.
• Where you might be going in your leadership development.
• Discuss how Situational Leadership theory is relelvant to your self-analysis.
• Include any other leadership theory, or theories relevant to your self-analysis.

You should write between 800-1000 words for this reflection.

ii. Benchmark self against known respected leader(s)

Compare and contrast your current leadership abilities with a known and respected leader, or leaders of your choice. You should discuss at least three of the following attributes:

• Your people skills
• Your degree of self-confidence
• Your leadership orientation
• Plus any other self-insight reflection

You should write between 800-1000 words for this reflection.

iii. Cultural Context

Discuss the cultural context of your current leadership abilities.

• Consider whether or not your ethnicity is a factor in your leadership style.
• Discuss whether or not your leadership abilities may or may not be relevant in a different cultural context, such as working overseas - consider culture in a broader context and not simply in terms of ethnicity but other factors such as gender, age and even social status.

You should write between 800-1000 words for this reflection.

Part B - Leadership Development Plan

Complete each component of the Leadership Development Plan Template. You should write between 100-200 words for each component.

Note - For the leadership work we have different leader with whom you need to link assignment. Leader: MS dhoni. Total 3300 word for all.
