In a 3-5 page paper analyze and discuss the following:

Question: Compare and contrast the theories of utilitarianism and deontology. Start by discussing each theory to set the stage. Then, compare and contrast these two theories using at least three examples of contemporary ethics issues to support the main assertions about these theories made in your paper. Lastly, consider a specific scenario you have experienced or witnessed, and are comfortable communicating about, and how you would apply these two theories to this personal experience and the outcome of that experience. What, if any, context does your examination of your experience though the lenses of philosophical theories support or perhaps challenge your initial assessment of the experience and/or it's outcome. Do not simply use the examples covered in your reading material, the examples should be original to you and demonstrate philosophical reasoning, understanding of and application of the main concepts associated with utilitarianism and Kantianism (or other deontological ethics).
