Top management has decided to review its compensation/reward structure. The company currently uses a seniority-based pay system and wants to utilize more of a performance-based pay system. They have employed a Compensation Strategist, who has recommended that they strengthen their indirect financial pay systems in order to facilitate intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The Strategist also believes that a salary survey should be completed to investigate issues that might also exist of comparable worth.
