For any essay questions the following is expected: The response must be in paragraph format and may not exceed three (3) paragraphs. Some part of the response to each question must be referenced to the textbook. That means the facts must be cited and properly referenced with credit being given to the author.
In addition to citing some fact(s) from the textbook, it is required to think critically about the question at hand. Thus, it is not acceptable to merely quote and properly reference some material from the text. The response to the question must be a graduate-level response complete with depth and breadth of critical thinking.
APA format: This also means that all of the words of said authors must be in quotation marks, and a complete in-text citation requires the author's last name, year, and page number. An example is (Martocchio, 2011, p. 15). At least one in-text citation is required in response for each question. A reference list is also required after the response which will consist of a proper APA reference to the textbook and any other scholarly source utilized (in addition to the text book/reference provided)
