3. Apply ethical theories to moral problems.
4. When presented with a moral problem, explain how utilitarianism or deontological rationalism (or both) would respond to it and why.

1. Is care ethics just a specialized form of virtue ethics? Explain. (First, you will need to  be at least paragraph summarizing virtue ethics, using the ethics of Aristotle  to give specific examples.  a paragraph summarizing care ethics, using specific references to Carol Gilligan or Nel Noddings, and comparing or contrasting care to virtue ethics, drawing a conclusion on the basis of your analysis.)
2. Should we abolish capital punishment in this state? What might a utilitarian say? What might a Kantian deontologist say? ( a paragraph summarizing utilitarian ethics and applying its form of reasoning to the problem. Then you will need  a paragraph doing the same with Kantian deontology.)
