Accounting and finance department with the collaboration of other departments present a big part of company's budget considering job descriptions. Among all the jobs, communication officers' were responsible for all client contact, policy interpretation and dealing with inquiries from the public, the press, different organizations related to several forms and memos mostly. Communication officers were complaining to have difficulty in their daily job performance. Based on that, company decides to send the employees to speed reading program costing tk. 150, 000 per person. At the time of training evaluation process, managers found that this training could not improve officers' job performance or working behavior rather it improves their leisure reading at home. Being HR manager, how would you identify the problem? How would you have suggested the most appropriate remedy for this company?
