Cell phone companies like Rogers, Bell and Telus are large corporations in the Canadian economic system.  They not only provide cell phone/communication services but they also look to be involved in the community with donating money and staff volunteering.  Regarding these cell phone companies explain the following:

 

a) Select a type of competition they would be involved in and explain your reasons

 

b) Answer the following:

 

• A concept for why a company as large as Rogers, Bell and Telus would donate millions of dollars to the community 
• Provide and explain either an advantage or disadvantage on this practice of being active in the community
• Share one responsibility that they have towards society and explain how it applies

 

c) Explain why and how the government might get involved if you have large cell phone companies
