Directions--Choose one of the peoples below and then choose 3 subjects to discuss. For instance, you might choose the Anasazi and then discuss their settlement patterns, religion, and foodways (agriculture, kinds of food, etc.).

Subjects to discuss after you have selected an ancient people--select three --remember to provide several examples for each of the subjects you discuss in your post:

  • Community organization, settlement patterns, and/or governance
  • Religion and rituals
  • Structures, architecture, or earthworks
  • Foodways (what did they eat) and agriculture
  • Trade--be specific about the kinds of items traded, with whom and from where items originated
  • Reasons for the cultures decline--what do we know about what led to their demise (if known)?

For this discussion, I need to answer this question! But I don't know much about the religion or trade of the Aztecs, which is the group I have chosen to write about.
