Interprofessional Collaborative Practice - IPEC Competency 3: Communication Purpose of Activity: The purpose of this activity is to develop a real-world plan of care as a member of the interprofessional team. Each of you have managed patients in the clinical setting. During these experiences, you should have had the opportunity to engage in interprofessional collaborative practice: Identify a patient case/scenario that was lacking in IPEC Competency 3: Communication. Reflect on the patient's care and interprofessional team. Review the videos and read the content from the IPEC prior to beginning the assignment. Within IPEC Competency 3: Communication, select one sub-competency you feel was lacking from their plan of care and would have been beneficial in their management. Develop a plan of care for how you would have addressed this sub-competency and the team members that would be needed.
