A discourse community can be broadly defined as a community that shares common values and purposes, as well as specific ways of communicating about these goals. In this unit, you will compose a profile of a discourse community (1200-1500 words) you are familiar with. Through collection of observations and interviews, you will analyze data and formulate claims based on this evidence.
