Communication is a factor that plays a big factor in every individual everyday life. Not only is positive communication something that we use in our every life, it plays a very vital role in the workplace. Many individuals do not realize just how important and what many kinds of ways they can communicate with one another in the workplace. It is very important for managers to form and have a very productive way to communicate with each employee. Positive communication increases the productivity and overall morale of their employees. Research on the topic shows how companies succeed so well when there is great communication and a bond between the manager and employees. In one study that I found from R. Miller (2016) the writer states the four different kinds of communication and the way individuals can ensure they are implemented within an organization and improve them over time. His study entails four ways in which communication is seen as such a powerful thing. Organizations have a greater luck at being successful when they all are structured around having a build up of good communication. Miller states that good communication; mitigates conflicts, increases employee engagement, creates better client relationships, and lastly results in a more productive and talented workforce. Many individuals choose not to communicate efficiently and effectively based off the fact they are afraid they may not be understood.
