Communication fulfills three main functions with an organization. What are they?

With the expansion of communication technology (cell phones to connect anytime/anywhere, voice mail, email, texting, video conferencing, blogs, wiki's, intranet corporate websites, private Internet television, and more) has the task of managing communication become more or less efficient? Explain your response with some detail as well as with an example or two.

To help me understand how you would handle managerial communication, write and explain three rules that would guide you. (For example, a rule that would guide me might be, "Be empathetic.
