Problem: This week, you learned about the closure stage of a project. As a project manager, you know how hard your team has been working and understand they are itching to move on to the next project. However, you also know that every project must finish as strong as it started. And sometimes, as demonstrated in the scenario below, that is easier said than done.

You were hired as a project manager for the construction of a new luxury apartment complex. The project is nearly completed and has entered the closure stage. During the project analysis phase of the closure stage, a member of your project team has alerted you that there may be issues with some of the newly-constructed units. Apparently, the cable routers used for cable television and internet services are outdated and will not work properly in 10-months.
