This assessment is to be completed individually. In this assessment, you will create a 10-minute presentation on the fundamentals of information, communication, and computer networks, focusing on the main technologies, models, and protocols used in data communications and networking.

You are required to develop a presentation showcasing a deep understanding of the fundamental aspects of information, communication, and computer networks. Emphasize should be given on:

The Evolution and Functionality of Information Networks: Starting from the conception of the internet to the present-day advancements, focus on how information networks have grown and changed over time. Touch upon how this evolution has influenced data transmission and networking methods.

Crucial Technologies and Protocols: Discuss the significant technologies that have been milestones in this domain, such as TCP/IP, routing algorithms, IPv4/IPv6, and the role of transport layer protocols. The idea is to link these technologies with everyday internet usage and their impact on network efficiency and security.

Network Layer Models and Beyond: Dive deeper into the OSI and TCP/IP models, elaborating on how each layer contributes to network communications. Connect this discussion with practical aspects such as addressing, routing mechanisms, and the significance of network layers in wireless networking.

Your presentation should include a clear and concise introduction, a detailed discussion of the key concepts, and a conclusion that summarises your main points and provides recommendations for future research or development in the field.

Your presentation must be submitted as a video recording.

You should provide appropriate references to support your discussion and ensure these match KBS guidelines. Provide at least ten (10) academic references in Kaplan Harvard style.
